Rishton Christian Fellowship is a completely separate church
group who rent a room from the Baptists
on
Commercial Street.
They are a free and non denominational church which has been
running for over twenty years. They previously meet at the oasis Christian
book shop on High street, now part of Use it computers.
Their aim is to see the Church grow in Rishton, and to see every
person come to a knowledge of Jesus Christ. Their main ministry has been to
children, although they have people of all ages in the church. They now have a team
of youngsters called the Shekinah Glory Team holding regular evangelistic events.
They welcome everyone to their meetings at the Baptist Church, Commercial Street.
Below are the details of their regular meetings. They are subject
to change, however. It would be a good idea to phone to confirm details,
particularly before making a long journey.
- Sundays: 11.30am Family Worship with crèche provided and
children's ministry for those 11 years & under.
- 6.00-7.30pm 'Xtreme' for youth (11-16 years) wanting to know
how to face today's challenges! Lively praise, worship and Bible study.
- Thursdays: 7.30pm Praise, Worship and Bible study.
- Fridays: 6.30-8.00pm Junior Club (3 to 16 yrs). Praise,
