Known as the Primitive Methodists, In 1944 this school was closed down and the pupils amalgamated with the High Street Methodist school.
Its last headmaster was Mr. John Wyatt, M. I. H.
From around 1952 to 1957, the building was used by Donshu Davidsons footwear company.1
The building was later used as the Library until its demolition to make way for the new library building.
