Now a disused quarry, this quarry is situated near to the end of the Top O' th Heights, overlooking Rishton.

The quarry, like most quarries in this area, once used to quarry the stone which we find most of Rishton built from.

The depth of the quarry is unknown due to flooding.

The stone is still visible around the perimeter of the quarry.

Entry to the quarry for vehicles was via Tan House Farm, off Blackburn Old Road, but there are plenty of footpaths linking it to the various farms and towns in the area.
