On the 27th February 2010, Mr. Colin Cooper was honoured by the town of Rishton with a clock in his name.

During his time in Rishton Mr. Cooper has given his time to countless voluntary groups, from PTAs to PROPECTS up to and including 2014.


Mr. Cooper and the Mayor of Hyndburn.

The clock was officially unveiled and honoured by the Mayor of Hyndburn, Paul Barton. Later Mr. Cooper was interviewed for Radio Lancashire, which went out live on air.

The event was attended not just by the mayor, but also Councillors Janette Liddle and Stan Horne. Forthcoming Councillor Ken Moss was also in attendance.
