When I was a child I never realised how much my Parents, Grand Parents, and Peers had taught me. Here are some of the learning's I remember, do you remember others? Let me know.

I was taught to give 200 percent effort:
"Don't come running to me if you fall and break your leg!"

I was taught I had choices in life:
"If your best mate told you to jump in the canal, would you?"

My peers taught me to appreciate a job well done:
“If you’re going to kill each other, do it outside â€" I’ve just finished cleaning!”

My peers taught me religion:
“You’d better pray that stain will clean out of the carpet.”

My peers taught me about time travel:
“If you don’t stop fighting, I’m going to knock you right into the middle of next week!”

My peers taught me logic:
“Because I said so, that’s why.”

My peers taught me foresight:
“Make sure you wear clean underwear, in case you’re in an accident.”

My peers taught me irony:
“If you don't wipe that smirk off your face, I’ll give you something to laugh about.”

My peers taught me about the science of osmosis:
“Shut your mouth and eat your tea!”

My peers taught me about contortionism:
“Have you seen the dirt on the back of your neck?”

My peers taught me about stamina:
“You’ll sit there until you've finished eating your greens.”

My peers taught me about the weather:
“It looks like an hurricane has swept through your room.”

My peers taught me how to solve physics problems:
“If I yelled because I saw a meteor coming towards you, would you listen to me then?”

My peers taught me about hypocrisy:
“If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a million times: don’t exaggerate!!”

My peers taught me the circle of life:
“I brought you into this world, and I can take you out.”

My peers taught me about behaviour modification:
“Stop acting like your father!”

My peers taught me about envy:
“There are millions of less fortunate children in this world who don’t have what you have!”
