In the Name of God Amen I Jeffray Taylor of Rishton in the County of Lancaster yeoman being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory do make and publish this to be my Last will and Testament in manner and form following and first of all I hereby order and direct that my funeral Expences and the Charge of the probate of this my will be paid and satisfied forth and out of my Goods Chattels and personal Estate And Whereas I am possessed of a Certain Messuage and Tenement Lying and being in Rishton aforesaid which I hold by Lease under the Right Honourable Catherine Lady Stourton of Dunkin Hall, which said Messuag and Tenement I give and bequeath to my son John Taylor upon this Condition and my mind and will is that my said son John Taylor shall pay all my Just debts and also shall pay unto my son Thomas the sum of one shilling of Lawfull money of Great Britain.
Also my mind and will is that my said son John Taylor shall pay unto my son Richard Taylor my Daughter Elizabeth Wife of William Shuttleworth and my Daughter Grace wife of William Roscow and Each of them the sum of six shillings and Eightpence a year of Good and Lawfull money of Great Britain for the space of Three years next after the Death of my Wife Grace Taylor if the Lives in the aforeaid original Lease or any one of them do fortune (?) so Long to Live Likewise my mind and will is that my said son John Taylor shall pay unto my wife Grace Taylor the sum of Two Pounds a year of like lawfull money of Great Britain During her natural Life if The said Lives in the aforesaid Original Lease or any one of them do fortune so Long to Live. All the Rest and Residue of my goods Chattels and personal Estate I give and bequeath To m wife Grace Taylor I do hereby Revoke all former wills Heretofore made by me. I nominate and appoint my Wife Grace Taylor Executrix of this my will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty ninth day of March in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and sixty five.
