Ash Close

The Street consists of 6 blocks of two tier semi-detached houses, with gardens front and back, 3 on either side of the close.

Situated on the South Side of Rishton, Ash Close was one of the first cul-de-sacs to be built off Walmsley Avenue during the early seventies.

The estate was first started in 1971 and Ash Close is one of the few Cul-De-Sacs from the first set of buildings that has not been opened up and continued.

Ash Close in 1983

Named after the Ash Tree.
