Beech Close in May 2001.

The Close contains semi-detached houses and runs away from the railway line from Walmsley Avenue. It backs onto the playing field used by Saint Charles School, which is accessed off Saint Charles Road.

On the left hand side of the close there are 4 blocks of two tier semi detached houses with gardens front and back.

On the right hand side are three semi detached, two tiered properties, with gardens front and rear. The houses are broken by a footpath leading into Eachill Gardens, then there is a block of 6 staggered two tiered terraced houses.

As with all the other little Cul-De-Sacs off Walmsley Avenue, it is named after the Beech tree.

At the top right hand side of Beech Close is a footpath which leads through to Eachill Gardens.

The close runs in a slight T formation, backing onto Saint Charles Road and Eachill Gardens.
